In our family, we write letters to each other when we’re upset, or concerned, or feel compelled to share our love and appreciation for one another.
Last night, Emma, my 10-year-old daughter, came to me after she’d finished her homework:
“Mom, I’d like to write a letter to Donald Trump. I want to ask him to be nicer. Will you post it so he will read it?”
I told her I would be happy to, as long as she spoke from her heart and wrote kindly:
“I hope he sees it, Mom.”
“I do too, Emma. I do, too.” ~Rebecca
