A couple of years ago, I walked into a coffee shop and bumped into a friend I hadn’t seen in a while. Within a few minutes, we were sitting at a table sharing the innards of our lives. We took it all off and got vulnerable. We cried, we laughed, and after two lingering hugs, we parted ways feeling supported and uplifted—all because we let down our guard and got honest.
It was that evening I started The Sisterhood Project, in hopes I could provide a safe space for women to be heard, accepted and loved for who they are.
