Through the practice of writing, I am able to quiet my judgments and allow my heart to roam, exposing and releasing fears, shame, guilt and doubt. When I complete a session of writing, I feel lighter–I feel free.
I noticed that writing produces the same sensations I have when I finish a session of yoga, so I decided to create a writing class called Writing is Yoga.
Writing is Yoga is a facilitated group class appropriate for everyone from novice to professional writers.
I believe everyone is a writer you just have to write.
The process is simple and allows anyone to pick up a pen and write without constraint, while forming bonds of trust and intimacy with fellow group members.
Writing is Yoga is an experience not to be missed. It is an effective addition to any team building program, retreat, school program or support group.
